From Greenhouse to Your House

Stepping into the shoes of five generations of Theis farmers is a humbling experience, and if Year One taught us to listen to the land, Year Two is about answering the call.

The "bones" of the farm—the drainage and the soil health we studied all winter—are now ready for the work. While the Yorkville fields are drying out, our focus has shifted under the glass. The quiet of winter has been replaced by the steady hum of growth.

The Greenhouse "Jumpstart"

Right now, our greenhouses are at maximum capacity. This is where the season truly begins:

  • The Nursery: We are currently tending to thousands of veggie seed starts and delicate flower arrangements. Every tray represents a future harvest or a centerpiece for your home.

  • Hardening Off: Soon, these plants will make the journey from the controlled warmth of the greenhouse to the rich, open soil of the fields.

  • The 2026 Rows: We are blending the traditional methods passed down from Steve and Kathy with modern soil management to ensure this year’s crop is the heartiest yet.

The Road to Market

The cycle is in full motion: from seed to soil, and soon, to your table. We’re not just growing plants; we’re growing the flavors of your summer. We can’t wait to show you what’s "poking through" next.
